The Boomerang Shawl

Hello crochet fans!

Recently the pattern for my most-watched Youtube video, How to Crochet the Boomerang Shawl, was removed from Ravelry. I have tried, to no avail, to contact the creator, Gail Hovanec. You can find her Ravelry profile here.

That being said, I'm taking the liberty of posting her pattern here, after trying to obtain permission from her first - I've searched for her on multiple platforms, and her messaging on Ravelry is turned off. However, she is a fantastic designer and this shawl is absolutely beautiful - there's a reason it's my most watched video!

Family Mini-shoot

Gosh, I am so thrilled with these photos.   If you're a photographer, and you have NOT tried out the 5D Mk II, come rent it.  Look at this family - their skin is AMAZING.  They could be models.  Enjoy!

A Little Catch Up

Here are a few pictures that I took but never got around to posting.  I did some major catching up on editing today and I'm very happy that the photos from three different shoots for the same family fit on one CD.  Also, did I mention that I love Lightscribe?  I think it is a must for anyone who includes CDs or DVDs in their photo packages or in any other type of professional product.

Blue Eyed Beauties

Look at these three with their beautiful blue eyes, they all look like they are straight out of a magazine!  This was a super fast mini shoot, thank goodness we had a happy baby!

Sweet Baby Girl

I'm so glad this couple had a little girl!  Their family just wouldn't be the same without her, and who can resist all the wonderful little girl things that are about to come their way...

And Then There Were Five!

We braved the AWFUL mosquitoes and got as many cute shots as we could before the kids went nuts!  And what more could I ask for - a family session AND a newborn session!  Enjoy your sneak peek!
